Steps to deactivate/delete the Account
We understand that situations change, and you might need to say goodbye to BookMyFood. Here are two ways to permanently deactivate your account:
Option A: Deactivate Through Email
- Send a Request: Compose an email requesting account deactivation from the email address registered with your BookMyFood account. Send the email to support@bookmyfood.se.
- Verification for Security: To ensure your account’s safety, a member of our support team might contact you to confirm the deactivation request. This is a precautionary measure to prevent unauthorized access.
- Account Deletion: Upon confirmation, your account will be permanently deleted.
Option B: Deactivate Through the App
- Open the App: Launch the BookMyFood app on your device.
- Access Settings: Navigate to the “Settings” page within the app.
- View Your Profile: Locate the “View Profile” section within the settings and click to view profile.
- Locate Deactivation Option: Look for the Gear icon, usually found at the top right corner of your profile page. Click on it to see the different options.
- Select Delete Account: Click on the “Delete Account” option and follow instructions.
- Verify with Password: Enter your password to confirm your identity.

Important Note: After deactivation, you won’t be able to access past orders, reviews, or account information.
